AEW Dynamite Result: The intro is followed by the stage fireworks and Jim Ross greets the audience. Excalibur & Tony Schiavone act as co-commentators.
CM Punk comes out and jumps into the crowd before he goes to other fans and then takes his place as a special guest commentator.

1. Match
Adam Cole defeated Frankie Kazarian with the last shot
After the match, Cole invites the audience to a “Story Time with Adam Cole” and explains that hope is a dangerous thing. The locker room guys hope they can keep up with the elite – but that’s not going to happen.
The three guys who got under his skin since he arrived were Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Jungle Boy. He challenges the three wrestlers to a trio match against him and the Young Bucks. “The SuperKliq is back Baybay and there’s nothing you can do about it!”
A video summarizes the story of the AEW Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers and their top challengers The Butcher & The Blade. Both teams will fight for the title on Friday at AEW Rampage.
Backstage: Tony Schiavone is with Fuego Del Sol and Sammy Guevara for an interview. Fuego owns a Hyundai, which he has been able to buy since he was under contract with AEW. Del Sol puts his car on the line for another chance at Miro’s TNT Championship at Rampage.
In-ring: MJF enters the ring with Wardlow and insults New Jersey. MJF has been made aware that his words over the past week may have offended some people, but he doesn’t care. MJF claims to be the salt of the earth and a religious person, so he’s going to have a chat with the late, great Brian Pillman – the audience boos.
Pillman is a legend for MJF, but his son is the lame excuse for a legendary family tree. “Tell your son that I will massacre him!” The fans can chant whatever they want, but I’m better than you and you … “
Suddenly the music of Brian Pillman Jr. plays MJF asks Wardlow to take care of Pillman Jr. Wardlow leaves the ring and waits, but Pillman takes a different route. He storms into the ring with a chair while MJF begs him.
Wardlow returns and takes the chair from Pillman. Wardlow then takes a punch from Pillman. When Wardlow starts an attack, Pillman sends him to the apron. Pillman grabs the chair while Wardlow pulls back.

Earlier Today Video: Jim Ross held a sit-down interview with Brian Pillman Jr. Ross spoke about his past with Pillman’s father and the events of the past week. “We have to see MJF get the bum spanked,” Pillman shared, adding that he worked hard to live up to his father’s legacy. While MJF lived in luxury, Pillman fought for his life. “You have never been in the ring with someone like me.” His upbringing was wild, and at Arther Ashe Stadium, MJF will step into the ring with a pillman.
Backstage: Christian Cage and The Jurassic Express are interviewed. Jungle Boy claims that unlike Adam Cole, he has better friends and better hair. Christian contradicts this, because in his opinion the Bucks are good friends because they save Cole from the development department.
He’s also used to losing the Wednesday Night Wars and they should put Friday on the list as well. Jungle Boy accepts the challenge and Luchasaurus growls.
Before the next match, it was announced that the AEW Rampage Grand Slam Special will be two hours long in the coming week.
2. Match
Tag Team Match
FTR: Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler (w / Tully Blanchard) defeated Dante Martin & Matt Sydal after the Big Rig against Martin
The commentators address the “Suzuki incident”. According to Punk, Suzuki is demanding justice because his Entrance Theme Song was interrupted early on during his performance.
Video: Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer discuss “The Suzuki Incident”. According to Archer, Moxley had an unfair home advantage. They’ll face Moxley and Kingston in New York City next week. “Suzuki-gun, ichiban!”

In-Ring: Now Malakai Black moves in. He looks into the audience and calls on all “members of the House of Black” to stand up: “We have an enemy in our midst,” he says.
The camera pans to actress Rosario Dawson at the ring, who wears “Nightmare Family” clothes. Dawson and Black approach. When Black wants to take care of Dawson, Cody Rhodes returns. He runs straight through the crowd towards Black.
AEW Dynamite Result
Dawson takes advantage of the distraction and jumps on Black’s back. Black shakes off Dawson and is attacked by Cody. Both deliver a brawl through the crowd.
The next video hypt the Anna Jay vs. The Bunny Match, which takes place on Friday at AEW Rampage.
Backstage: Anna Jay is to be interviewed, but as usual the members of the Dark Order argue. Anna Jay has had enough and tells her comrades that she doesn’t want them outside if they can’t pull themselves together.
In-ring: Dan Lambert is in the ring with the Men of the Year and America’s Top Team, including, as usual, Junior Dos Santos and Andrei Arlovski. He berated the fans by calling the men small and the women extra tall. He’s also poking fun at the funky style here at AEW.
Chris Jericho goes out with Jake Hager. Lambert is furious as the audience continues to sing Jericho’s theme song even though it is no longer played. For Jericho, Lambert is a “fat-faced idiot”.
Lambert, on the other hand, sees a manipulator in Jericho who gets the fans to spend all their money on his merchandise. Jericho wants to know who is at the top of the American Top Team. Jericho shows no fear, after all, he has already fought against MMA fighters.
When Jericho and Hager are about to leave, Lambert tells them both that they will face Men of the Year in a real city next week.
The Gunn Club explains why they attacked Paul Wight. They don’t get the respect they need, even though they are unbeaten in tag team matches.
3rd Match
Jade Cargill (w / “Smart” Mark Sterling) defeated Leyla Hirsch after the Jaded
Video: Andrade El Idolo asks his assistant to explain his behavior at AEW Rampage. Chavo may have given him the instructions, but Andrade is the boss.

Taz, followed by HOOK, comes out and accuses CM Punk for taking away his place as a commentator. Punk drops the headset and faces HOOK. Suddenly, Punk is attacked from behind by Powerhouse Hobbs.
Punk tries to defend himself, but Hook puts on the Dragon Sleeper. Then the commentary desk is cleared and punk is thrown onto the table with a chokeslam, which, however, did not break.
Video: Shawn Spears issues a warning to Darby Allin. Both will face each other in the ring.
4. Match
Darby Allin (w / Sting) defeated Shawn Spears (w / Tully Blanchard) after the coffin drop
After the match: FTR step into the ring and fight Sting and Darby Allin. Tully Blanchard also goes into the ring and hits Sting with the chair. Sting reciprocates and slaps Tully in the face. Then he is overwhelmed by FTR. FTR incapacitates Sting with a spike piledriver before Tully wipes off Sting’s face paint.
Video: Bryan Danielson talks about The Elite and he thinks they are unsafe. He’s only targeting one member: Kenny Omega! He knows how great Omega can be, but he’s just looking forward to getting in the ring and Wrestling. Everyone at AEW wants to prove themselves. “I’m here and I’m in!”
In-ring: Tony Schiavone calls Danielson out. “The American Dragon is back and he’s with AEW!” Danielson goes into the ring and is questioned about a possible match with Kenny Omega. Danielson asks what the audience thinks, but Omega and Don Callis interrupt.

Callis describes Danielson as “disgusting” and makes fun of Danielson’s statements, because Danielson recently announced how difficult it was for him to switch to AEW. If Danielson really made this decision for the benefit of the wrestling business, he was “just a target”.
Danielson forbids Callis to shut up because he’s here to talk to Omega. “One day this will be about the title, but right now it’s all about who is better.” Danielson challenges Omega, but Callis says “no way”. Danielson asks Callis to shut up again.
He’s joined AEW to fight the “Best Bout Machine” but since he’s been here he’s only seen one guy hang out with a bunch of stupid henchmen and let Callis speak for himself. Danielson doesn’t believe the rumors that Omega lost its bite, but his balls do. Danielson now demands a clear answer to his challenge: “YES” or “NO”! Omega replies with “YES”. Callis is anything but happy.
Backstage: Miro can’t believe Fuego Del Sol is challenging him. “I’ll smash your brain and then I’ll smash your car … This is the word of the Redeemer!”
Video: Matt Hary challenges Orange Cassidy for breaking his nose. Matt wants to shave Orange’s head.

Eddie Kingston & Jon Moxley defeated 2point0: Jeff Parker & Matt Lee (w / Daniel Garcia) after a German Suplex / Lariat combination against Parker
After the match: Moxley and Kingston can only celebrate briefly, because the music of Minoru Suzuki can be heard. As the Japanese climbs into the ring, Kingston is pulled out of the ring by Lance Archer. It sparked a brawl between Moxley / Suzuki and Kingston / Archer.
While Archer and Kingston continue their brawl in the crowd, Moxley and Suzuki fight in front of the ring. Moxley can prevent a Gotch-Style Piledriver from the Japanese on the timekeeper’s table by using a microphone as a striking weapon. The show ends with this powerful argument.
