IND vs NZ: New Zealand tour of India has been postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions & Tight Schedule

IND vs NZ: The proposed New Zealand tour of the Indian team has been cancelled till next year. According to the ICC’s Future Tour Program. Virat Kohli and Co. had to play three matches against the Black Caps to qualify for the World Cup Super League.

Earlier, the Kiwi board had to cancel several series due to the Corona epidemic. Now many teams stands in line to tour New Zealand.

Apart from this, New Zealand’s team is going to host Bangladesh, Netherlands, South Africa and Women’s World Cup next year. Now the Indian team can tour there only after the T20 World Cup 2022.

A spokesperson for the New Zealand Cricket Board confirmed that India will not tour this season as per the FTP. And that a series between the two teams can take place only after the T20 World Cup in Australia in November next year.

Meanwhile, the Kiwi players themselves will not return home before the end of November. New Zealand’s team is currently in Pakistan where it is going to play a limited overs series. After this, the Kiwi team will fly to the United Arab Emirates and will come to India just after the T20 World Cup.

Just after the T20 World Cup. The New Zealand team will tour India for a two-match Test series and a three-match T20 series.

After this, on returning home, the Kiwi team has to play two Tests and three T20 matches against Bangladesh, three ODIs against the Netherlands and two Tests and three T20 matches against South Africa.
