Toni Storm has her big break
The great fight of the night will be the Charlotte Flair against Toni Storm for the SmackDown women’s belt. Charlotte and Toni have been exchanging promos since the weeks leading up to Survivor Series. As leaading to a head-to-head showdown on the December 10 SmackDown show.
Toni ended up taking the victory by disqualification. Which placed her as the contender for the SmackDown women’s title. Charlotte has been a champion for 63 days. Since the infamous title swap with Becky Lynch, and tonight will be her first time putting the title on the line.
A new contender for the WWE intercontinental title
WWE will offer tonight a 12-Man Gauntlet Match where a new contender for the company’s intercontinental belt will be named. Ricochet, Cesaro, Mansoor, Erik, Ivar, Drew Gulak, Sheamus, Sami Zayn, Jinder Mahal, Shanky, Angel and Humberto will be the participants of the combat.

The winner of the fight will later face Shinsuke Nakamura who has been champion for more than 130 days and has only put the medal at stake once.
Paul Heyman appears after the firing of Roman Reigns
The last SmackDown program ended with Roman Reigns’ attack on Paul Heyman. Roman fired the one who had been his companion since SummerSlam 2020 and attacked him, thus breaking their alliance.
For tonight’s SmackDown program, a segment by Paul Heyman has been announced where he will talk about his situation with Roman. Heyman could return to the side of Brock Lesnar who appeared on the last show to attack Roman after he hit Heyman
