Apollo Crews finally got his shot at the Intercontinental Championship back at the Wrestlemania 37th. Apollo fought Big E for the title back at Fastlane PPV where he was unable to win. Apollo Crews and Big E have been in a feud for quite a long time now which didn’t end at Wrestlemania 37th.
Responding to both Apollo and Big E’s aggressiveness, WWE came up with a No Disqualification match for their Wrestlemania brawl. The match started with both the superstars hitting each other with sticks.
Later, Big E and Apollo started using the Steel Steps instead. Big E slammed Apollo Crews on the steel steps which looked like Apollo’s end but it wasn’t. Both the superstars were all in throughout the match.
Towards the end, Big managed to capitalize and land his finisher onto Apollo Crews. But this wasn’t it for Big E. Out of nowhere, Dabba-Kato appeared and landed a choke slam onto the Intercontinental Champion.
Dabba-Kato shocked the whole WWE Universe with his appearance and led Apollo Crews straight for the win. Apollo made his way back into the game and won the Intercontinental title via a simple pinfall.
