Argentina WC 2022 Squad: One of the tournaments, Argentina released their 26-man squad list for the Qatar 2022 edition of the FIFA World Cup.

Led by the mercurial, Lionel Messi; who is participating in his 5th FIFA World Cup; Argentina will be eyeing a third World Cup success.
Argentina have been one of the in-form sides and are considered tournament favourites this time around with the WC squad as follows:
Goalkeepers: Emiliano Martinez, Geronimo Rulli and Franco Armani
Defenders: Nahuel Molina, Gonzalo Montiel, Cristian Romero, German Pezzella, Nicolas Otamendi, Lisandro Martinez, Marcos Acuna, Nicolas Tagliafico and Juan Foyth

Argentina head into this World Cup as one of the top dogs of the tournament having been unbeaten for 35 matches across competitions.
Their 35-match run includes 24 wins and 11 draws across friendly matches, WC Qualifiers, Copa America 2021 success and the La Finalissima.
In what is expected to be Messi’s last FIFA World Cup, the entire Argentina hopes to make his dream come true.
Their mid-field and attacking quality have enough depth to rattle the oppositions alongside experience in the defence.

Argentina is a part of Group C which includes Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Poland.
