Copa America final: Brazil lock horns with Argentina in the Copa America final on Sunday in what is expected to be a thrilling contest at the Maracana.

The Superclásico de las Américas rivalry takes its course once again in the Copa America when these two sides meet in the Sunday final.

Argentina has not won the title since 1993 whereas Brazil are the defending champions.

Messi and Neymar- No International trophy

Messi and Neymar are yet to win a trophy at the international stage for the country.

His last presence in a final was in the 2014 World Cup, where his side lost 1-0 against Germany.

Lionel Messi has never won the Copa América title since his debut.

He finished runners-up in 2007, 2015 and 2016.

Neymar won the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2013 but since has not won an honor for Brazil. He was ruled out of he 2019 event due to injury.

No Guest teams

The Copa América follows the tradition of having guest teams participate in the CONMEBOL event.

But due to the pandemic and World Cup Qualification criteria, there were no guest teams in the 2021 Copa América tournament.

Most titles record with Uruguay
