Bowlers Who Have Taken 10 Wicket Hauls in an Innings in Tests| Check Out Names

10 wicket hauls Tests: Ajaz Patel became only the third ever bowler to take all 10 wickets in an innings in Tests! Here is a list of all the bowlers of who have done it so far!

We will go through this list in reverse chronological order, meaning the most recent one will come first on the list.

#3 – Ajaz Patel (NZ, 2021)

Throughout the entire Indian innings, Patel looked like the only bowler who could take any wickets. And that turned out to be the case!

He started the Day with 4 wickets already to his name, but little did even he think that he would end up taking all 10 Indian wickets on offer!

He returned with figures of: 47.5-12-119-10. In doing so, he became only the third bowler in the history of Tests to claim all 10 wickets in an innings!

#2 – Anil Kumble (IND, 1999)

It was a Test between arch-rivals India and Pakistan. Anil Kumble took the ball in hand and wreaked absolute havoc with the Pakistani batting order!

Chasing 420 in the 4th innings to win, Pakistan collapsed in front of Kumble’s magical bowling.

#1 – Jim Laker (ENG, 1956)

Laker was a right-arm off-spin bowler who is widely regarded as a legendary player of English cricket.

In the 4th Test against Australia in an Ashes series, Laker achieved a feat that is still unequalled by any bowler in Test cricket.

Not only did he become the first-ever bowler to claim all 10 wickets in an innings, he is still the only bowler to have claimed 19 wickets in a Test match!

This match has rightly been given the term – “Laker’s match”.

His 2nd innings figures were: 51.2-23-53-10.

So these are the 3 bowlers who have taken all 10 wickets in an innings in Test cricket!
