Brazil WC 2022 Squad: Brazil’s coach, Tite announced their 26-men squad for the FIFA WC 2022 in Qatar as they eye a sixth FIFA World Cup crown.

The Brazilian team will be led by the Chelsea defender, Thiago Silva while Neymar is the vice-captain of the team.

Goalkeepers: Allison Becker, Ederson Moraes and Weverton Pereira

Defenders: Danilo, Dani Alves, Alex Sandro, Alex Telles, Thiago Silva (c), Marquinhos, Eder Militao and Gleison Bremer

Midfielders: Casemiro, Fred, Bruno Guimaraes, Fabinho, Lucas Paquetá and Everton Ribeiro

Forwards: Neymar (vc), Vinicius Jr, Gabriel Jesus, Antony, Raphinha, Richarlison, Gabriel Martinelli, Rodrygo and Pedro

Brazil has selected a wonderful mix of youth and experience as they hope to win their 6th FIFA World Cup, having last won it in 2002.

They finished top of the CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers with 45 points from their 17 matches to ensure a straight ticket to Qatar.

They were one of the two teams who did not lose a single WC Qualification match during these Qualifiers and will be gunning for glory.

Brazil is a part of Group G with Cameroon, Serbia and Switzerland making up the members of the quartet.

The fixtures as follows:

25th November: Brazil vs Serbia (12:30 AM IST), Lusail Stadium

28th November: Brazil vs Switzerland (09:30 PM IST), Stadium 974

3rd December: Cameroon vs Brazil (12:30 AM IST), Lusail Stadium

The five-time champions are expected to progress to the knockouts of the competition despite this being a more than competitive group.

It is their quality, in-form players, ability to turn on the Samba style of football which are reasons for the high expectations from Tite’s men.
