Talking to the media on Wednesday, Kohli said, “As a team, we were disappointed that we lost two points. Because it is a reason that is not in our hands. We were two overs behind. But We bowled a few overs early in the second innings.”

Virat Kohli said, “There are little things where we have to save 10-15 seconds that matter a lot. And we did the same practice in the second innings. These points matter a lot.”

After this, India took a 95-run lead by scoring 278 runs. England scored 303 runs in the second innings on the basis of captain Joe Root’s century and gave Team India a target of 209 runs to win.
