Hansi Flick: The departing Bayern Munich boss, Hansi Flick is confirmed to become new Germany manager after the Euro 2020.
ImageBayern Munich’s outgoing manager will take over from Joachim Löw after the continental event which begins from June 11.
Low has already confirmed his plans to move on from the German National team after the Euros. Flick’s appointment will hope to see Germany once again become a force to reckon with.
Hans-Dieter Flick was the assistant manager of Germany from 2006 -2014 which saw Germany being crowned champions in 2014.
Flick’s C.V as a manager cannot have been better. He has won 7 trophies with the Bavarians before taking up national duty.

ImageThis includes a treble in 2019-20 season where Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League and DFB-Pokal.
He also won the DFL-Supercup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup during his reign.
Flick was given a new contract with Bayern Munich till the end of 2023, which he signed.
But prior to the end of 2020-21 season, he announced his departure from Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
The German national signed a three-year contract until the summer of 2024, giving him the World Cup and the next European Championships to probe his mettle on Die Mannschaft.

Julien Naglesmann is set to take over the Bayern Munich manager role at the start of the 2021-22 season.

Apart from the 2014 World Cup, Germany reached the semis of the Euro 2012 and 2016.
They also finished runners-up to Spain in the Euro 2008.
Germany has not been able to win a world title since the triumph of 2014 and Flick would hope to get Germany back to the level they belong to.
