ICC T20 World Cup 2021: Australia Team Squad, Fixtures, Date, Time, Matches| All You need to know

ICC T20 World Cup 2021: Australia has announced a 15-man squad for the ICC T20 World Cup. Aaron Finch will continue as the captain of the team. While the same fast bowler Pat Cummins has been made the vice-captain of the team.

26-year-old wicket-keeper batsman Jose English, who has consistently scored runs with the bat in domestic cricket. He has also got a place in the team. Apart from this, experienced batsman Steve Smith has also been included in the team.

The chairman of the selection committee, George Bailey, praised English, saying that the batsman has scored consistently in limited overs cricket and also scored the most runs in the Vitality Blast.

Apart from this, other big stalwarts of the team like Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis and David Warner have returned.  Alex Carey has not got a chance in the team and Matthew Wade is present as the second wicket-keeper option.

Apart from this, the Australian Cricket Board has kept three players as reserves, which includes the names of Daniel Christian, Nathan Ellis and Daniel Sams.
