IPL 2021 UAE Updates: Australian fast bowler is all set to make his comeback for CSK in IPL

IPL 2021 CSK Updates: Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood will play the second half of IPL 2021 for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Chennai CEO has confirmed this in a conversation with Cricbuzz.

Hazlewood withdrew from the first half of the tournament played in April-May.  In his place, Chennai had included Australia’s left-arm fast bowler Jason Behrendorff in the team. But now Hazlewood will be available for the second half and now according to the IPL replacement rules, Chennai will have to release Behrendorf from the team.

Hazlewood did well in the recent T20I series against West Indies and Bangladesh, taking 12 wickets in 8 matches. In which his economy was excellent. Hazlewood made his IPL debut for Chennai last season played in the UAE.  Although he got a chance to play three matches, in which only one wicket came in his account.

Let us tell you that many players from Chennai, including captain MS Dhoni, have reached UAE for the second half.  Chennai has to play its first against defending champions Mumbai Indians on 19 September.

Chennai had performed brilliantly in the first half of the IPL and currently the team is at number two in the points table with five wins in seven matches.
