1. The first captain with maximum international centuries

Virat kohli has scored 41 centuries equal to Australian veteran captain Ricky pointing. He need one century to surpass Pointing and he will be the world’s first player to score 42 international centuries in all formats of the game. Kohli took just 188 matches to reach at the milestone of scoring 41 centuries whereas Pointing took 324 matches to score 41 centuries.

2 . Break his drought for 71st century

Recently Virat kohli scored a century not in International cricket but on international soical media platform Instagram, he became first cricketer to reach 100 million followers. But his last century came in November 2019 against Bangladesh when he scored 131 not out but after that he failed to score any century. Dhoni has captained India in 60 matches with 27 wins, 18 defeats and 16 draws. While kohli has won 35 matches, 14 defeats and 10 draws in 59 matches so far. Kohli also recently surpassed Dhoni as the most successful captain at home with 22 victories in 29 matches while Dhoni had 21 victories in 30 matches in India.
