EPL Results: Burnley held Leicester City on 1-1, City stays at 3rd place with 50 points

Leicester did not have an easy life at Turf Moor and came home with a 1-1 draw against Burnley, who had better moments in the match.

With equality, the Foxes get 50 points, the same score as Manchester United in the English vice-leadership, 15 from the leader, Manchester City. The  Clarets  are in 15th, with 29.

One goal for each side Burnley took the lead early in the game, at four minutes. Vydra took advantage of an error in the opposing ball and took good advantage of Schmeichel to put the hosts at an advantage.

Although Schmeichel was an important figure in the first half, Leicester got the answer through a big ball thrown by Ndidi. Iheanacho got in the face of the goal and took a left-handed shot to equalize.

At the start of the second half, Schmeichel returned to being a protagonist. The goalkeeper made a save to avoid Chris Wood’s header. The  Clarets  were very dangerous in the balls from the top.

On the floor, Westwood sent the ball over the post. The Foxes, who did not make a great second half, also threatened Tielemans, who sent a kick in the corner and swung the post. The teams matched on the balls on the crossbar, and also on the scoreboard: 1 to 1.
