IPL 2021: CSK’s Dhoni shows his power hitting in Nets, hits monstrous sixes

CSK Practice Session: Chennai Super Kings, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni), has reached the UAE for the second phase of IPL 2021.

The team has also started practice there. Captain Dhoni is also sweating heavily in the net session. He is looking to get in full swing before the start of the tournament. That’s why he is hitting long sixes in the nets.

A video of this has been shared by CSK from its Twitter account. In this, Dhoni hits many sixes one after the other and every time the ball is seen traveling outside the field.

What was more interesting than watching Dhoni’s fast batting in this video was that after raining sixes, he starts looking for the ball with fellow players.

The funny thing is that he even manages to get some balls out by entering the bushes. Dhoni, who has made his mark as a match finisher, has been constantly criticized for his slow batting for some time now. But before the second phase of IPL 2021, the kind of batting he is batting. It is seen from him that he has geared up to stop speaking of critics.

CSK won 5 matches before IPL 2021 was postponed

The performance of Chennai Super Kings in the last IPL was poor. The team missed out on qualifying for the play-offs for the first time in the history of the league.

Dhoni’s bat was also silent. He was able to score 200 runs in 14 matches. He could not score even a single half-century. His team had won only 6 out of 14 matches. However, forgetting that failure, the team made a great start in IPL 2021.

Before the league was postponed due to Corona virus, CSK have won 5 out of 7 matches and the team was second only to Delhi Capitals in the points table. However, runs did not come off Dhoni’s bat. He scored only 37 runs in 7 matches. In such a situation, he would like to compensate for it in the second phase of the league.

The second phase of IPL will start in UAE from 19th September. In the first match, Chennai Super Kings will face the defending champions Mumbai Indians. This match will be played in Dubai.
