IPL 2021: The second leg of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 19.

The first match will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captained by legendary wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Mumbai Indians (MI) led by Dhakad opener Rohit Sharma on September 19 at the International Stadium in Dubai.

While its final will be played on October 15 at the same venue. will be on the field.

Earlier, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given a big update. BCCI has told whether the spectators will get entry in the field. During the second phase of IPL 2021 or not.

BCCI provides big Update

The board said that if they get permission from the UAE government, then the fans can enjoy the match in the field. However, the Indian Cricket Board has made it clear that the presence of spectators will not be at the cost of the health of the players.

Board treasurer Arun Kumar Dhumal said, “We are working on it and are hopeful that this time the UAE government will allow spectators, as everyone has been vaccinated there. Let’s see what happens.”

He further said, “We hope that the spectators will be allowed to come. But it will not be at the cost of the safety of the players or the people. Which is most important.  Everything else depends on the UAE government.”

Seeing the increasing cases of corona virus in the country this year. The BCCI decided to postpone the 14th edition of the IPL indefinitely. Days after which the BCCI decided to organize its remaining matches in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have taken.

29 matches were played in this year’s IPL season. While the remaining 31 matches will now be played abroad.
