IPL 2021: Top 5 players who have played with 3 clubs, check out list.

IPL looks at all the franchises and try and create a loyal fan base to increase the popularity of the league, with IPL all set to start its 14th edition.

There are players who have been loyal to their franchise like Virat Kohli (RCB), MS Dhoni (CSK) and Rohit Sharma (MI). on the other hand, there are players who have moved to different franchise over the years, lets look at top 5 players who have done so.

Aaron Finch (8 IPL Franchises):

The 33-year-old Australian has moved to as many franchises as he can over the years, starting from his debut season with Rajasthan Royals featuring on only in one match. After which he moved to Rune Warriors and played 14 gamed before moving to Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Clinching the title with Mumbai Indians and moving on with Gujarat Lions. From there on he moved to Kings XI Punjab and played 2 full seasons in 2018.

Aaron Finch remained unsold in current ongoing VIVO IPL 2021.

Dinesh Karthik (6 IPL Franchises):

He began his IPL career with Delhi Daredevils in 2008 and played 42 matches for the franchise and then moved on to Kings XI Punjab in 2011 before moving to Mumbai Indians for the next 2 seasons. The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman made his return to Delhi Daredevils back in 2014 after which he turned up playing for Royal Challengers. Karthik then played for the next 2 editions of the IPL with Gujarat Lions before making his move to Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018.

Parthiv Patel (6 IPL Franchises):

Patel who made his debut for Chennai Super Kings in the inaugural edition of the competition in 2008. Followed that from 2011 to 2013 he went on to play for Kochi Tuskers, Deccan Charges and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He then went on to play for 3 seasons with Mumbai Indians and bagged 2 IPL titles with them. In 2018 made his return to Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Ishant Sharma (6 IPL Franchises):

With a whopping price of 3.8 crores back in 2008 made his debut for Kolkata Knight Riders. After 3 seasons with them he then was bought by Deccan Chargers in 2011 and likewise with Sunrisers Hyderabad as well. He was later picked up by Rising Pune Super Giants and started doubting his abilities in the short format of the game. Later bought by Kings XI Punjab and used him as a replacement bowler since he was a bowler and specialist in test Cricket. In 2019, Delhi Capitals picked Ishant Sharma back at home.

Thisara Perera (6 IPL Franchises):

The Sri Lankan all-rounder is the second overseas player to have played in 6 different franchises. Between 2010 to 2016 he played for Chennai Super Kings, Kochi Tuskers, Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rising Pune Super giants respectively. He has not returned to the IPL ever since.
