IPL 2022: Sunrisers Hyderabad haven’t failed to reach qualifications since 2016. They are a very strong side but this year have failed to find the right balance as they were struggling evidently on field with momentum and controversies surrounding the captaincy.
Mega auction in IPL 2022 will decide the fate of the team for the coming years. Let’s look the possible retentions from SRH:
Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan has performed as the most economical spinner for SRH since a long time now. His deliveries find no answers from the opposition and he thrashes those wickets effortlessly.
He has done a really great job over the years and SRH will back him in the retention no matter what.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar 
After his comeback from the injuries he had an impressive spell during the series against England although his injuries made a comeback in IPL 2021 which also led the bowling attack to become weaker.
Bhuvi is the most experienced and dependable bowler in the squad, He has a good chance of retention with SRH.

Kane Williamson or David Warner 
David Warner has led the team to its fist trophy in 2016 and under his leadership SRH never failed to chase qualifications, unfortunately 2021 was not his season neither with bat nor with captaincy. He was sacked midway from captaincy and then was dropped from the team.
Kane Williamson is one of the most valuable assets to the team and he has led after Warner. This shows SRH’s intention which are quite unclear because Warner has been their man but seems like they potentially see their future with Williamson leading the pack and it’s very unlikely to retain them together.
