Jazz dominates Grizzlies by 4-1 in the NBA Playoffs series Win, enters into the semi-final.
NBA Playoffs Semi-final: It’s the first time since 2018 that the Jazz has won a first-round playoff series. Now they advance to the semifinals. While the Memphis will head home after losing the last four games following a Game 1 win. The Jazz not only closed out a tough-minded young star of Grizzlies Ja Morant but also they are the first team in the 2021 playoffs to advance in the Western Conference.
Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell recorded a double-double to lead the Jazz with 30 points and 10 assists. Rudy Gobert had a double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds, along with three blocks. Jordan Clarkson poured in 24 points off the bench. Both Bojan Bogdanovic and Royce O’Neale chipped in 17 points apiece.
Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks led Memphis with 27 points while Jonas Valanciunas posted 18 points, while Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 15 points.

The Grizzlies tried and made a small run midway through the fourth quarter which cut Utah’s lead from 31 to 22 with 6:09 remaining. Quin Snyder, the Jazz coach decided to put Mitchell back into the game.
NBA Playoffs Semi-final
Jazz coach Quin Snyder said “I think it shows that last year is last year and this year is this year, Game 3 is Game 3, Game 5 is Game 5, the thing about this time of year is that it’s just as important to be able to forget as it is to be able to remember. I think our guys have been focused on controlling what we can control to the extent that there’s experience gained, I think that’s relevant. But every game’s different, not just every season, every year. I really like that we were able to lock in in Game 2 after losing Game 1. We had some guys that played through fatigue and guys that came up big. You never know who it’s going to be on a given night.”

The only downside of the win was that Mike Conley complained about the nagging right hamstring injury that he has dealt with at various points throughout the season. He was out of the game in the second quarter and did not return. The reports also suggest that he might be out of the remaining season for the Utah Jazz.
The Utah Jazz will now face the winner of the LA Clippers vs Dallas Mavericks of the western conference.
