It went all downhill after the Lakers star, Anthony Davis had a groin injury and was made to sit out of game 5. LeBron James scored 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists which were not good enough. While Kyle Kuzma and Talen and James were the only players to have scored 10+ points for the team. The rest of the players showed poor performances which would not work for them in-game 6 if Davis is still out.
Frank Vogel said Anthony Davis (groin) is making progress, but “We still don’t know” about his availability for Game 6.

Suns:
Devin Booker has cooked the Lakers in the playoff series since the very first game. He went into takeover mode in Game 5 and scored 30 points. Chris Paul’s shoulder injury looked bad and he managed to get 9 points for the team.
Cameron Payne came off the bench in Game 5 and was electric with shooting 7-11 from the field and grabbing 4 rebounds in just 19 minutes.

Game prediction:
For the Suns, even if Chris Paul is out, Cameron Payne can fill in, and then the game is on. LeBron James alone cannot take the Lakers to the conference semis and will need his teammates to back him up even if Davis is out. Even though the home-court advantage it seems like the suns have got it all figured out and are going for the next round beating the LA Lakers.
