Portugal 3-2 Ghana: Portugal beat Ghana 3-2 in a nervy Group H affair at the Ras Abu Aboud Stadium on Wednesday as Cristiano Ronaldo led the way.
The skipper created a record with his eight World Cup goal before Ayew equalized for Ghana. A quick burst two goals from Felix and Leao gave Portugal the cushion before Bukari pulled one back for the Black Stars.
FIRST HALF
Cristiano Ronaldo had a big chance in the 10th minute to get his side into an early lead, but the Ghana keeper made a save on the stretch to deny him.
The Portuguese captain had another chance through a corner but his glancing header was hit wide of the post.

CR7 thought we found the net in the 31st minute when he fired past Ati-Zigi from Felix’s pass, but conceded a foul in the build-up.
The European side dominated proceedings but lacked cutting edge in the final third as it ended 0-0 at half-time.
SECOND HALF
The telling moment finally came in the 65th minute when the referee pointed to the spot for a foul on Ronaldo.
Cristiano did not disappoint and fired his nation into the lead with a hammer of a strike to not only give them the lead, but also create a record.

The lead did not last long as Ghana equalized through captain Ayew in the 73rd minute when he steered home from Kudus’ sublime low cross.
This did not hurt Portugal as 4 minutes later Felix made it 2-1 with a sweet strike after he picked up on the through ball from Fernandes.
Fernandes turned provider once again 2 mins and 16 seconds later when he offloaded to Leao, who guided it home for Portugal’s fourth.
The pressure mounted from both ends and Bukari pulled one back for Ghana to make it 3-2.
Rahman ran down the flank and got the better of Cancelo before lifting his cross to Bukari; who headed home without any mistake.
Portugal had a late scare in the 10th minute of extra time but did enough to hold off Ghana and seal three points.
