WWE Wrestlemania 37th witnessed a brutal match for the WWE Universal Championship on the Night 2’s main event. Roman Reigns defended his Universal title against Edge and Daniel Bryan. As the match was No Disqualification, Reigns had a helping hand from Jey Uso’s side.
Jey helped Reigns by beating up Daniel Bryan and Edge at the beginning of the match. Edge couldn’t bear with this which is why Edge gave Jey a DDT on the steel steps injuring Jey. Throughout the match, Roman Reigns asserted dominance on both Edge and Daniel Bryan.
We also witnessed a vicious use of the steel chair by Edge and Roman Reigns. At one moment, Daniel Bryan had the upper hand after Edge and Reigns speared each other and got injured. Bryan failed to capitalize that moment and received a spear from Edge.
Roman Reigns making no mistake put Edge down with a spear and hit his head brutally with the steel chair. Reigns, then knew that the match was falling back into his hand. The Underdog pinned both the superstars then at the same moment and retained his WWE Universal Title.
