Top 3 managers who could replace Frank Lampard as Everton boss; check this out

Next Everton Manager: Everton has sacked current boss, Frank Lampard today from the managerial post following a poor EPL 2022-23 season.

The Toffees are currently in 19th place with 15 points and are on their way down with just 3 wins all season.

Lampard’s fate was pretty much sealed on Saturday after his side lost 2-0 away to West Ham at the London Stadium, with news of his departure on the rise.

Having sacked the ex-Blues player, Everton need a manager who can provide confidence to the current batch of players as they aim to avoid relegation.

It’s going to be an uphill battle and whoever comes in next will be under massive pressure to ensure Toffees avoid the drop.

Hence, today we look at the top 3 contenders to become next Everton manager this season.

The ex-Spurs and PSG manager could be on the radar for his next stint in the Premier League.

Pochettino did an inspiring job of helping Spurs towards a Football League Cup and UCL runners-up positions respectively in 2015 and 2019.

Spurs also finished league runners-up in 2016-17 under his stint. In 2021, he joined PSG and won the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France as well.

The Argentina national has shown potential of getting a group intact and playing fine football and could be a viable option for the Everton side.

His EPL experience also adds to his push towards becoming the next Toffees manager.

Marcelo Bielsa

The ex-Leeds United boss is another one in the running for the role of manager at Everton.

After a 4-year successful stint at Leeds United, Bielsa was relieved from his job following a string of poor results.

Marcelo got the Leeds United side from the mid-table of the EFL Championship to eventually win the title in 2019-20.

In the EPL, he got Leeds to play an attractive and fast paced brand of football, which got them major laurels from fans and experts around.

Bielsa won 81 of the 170 matches and is regarded as one of the club’s greats and has got the expertise and acumen to re-galvanize the Everton side.

David Moyes

The current West Ham manager is under pressure at the London based club following poor results.

West Ham is in 16th place with 18 points on the table and are bearing down the wrong side of the EPL table. They are just outside the relegation on a marginal goal difference, which is negative.

Hence, a return to his ex-club could be on the offing as David Moyes has the EPL experience to provide support needed to Everton.

In his 11-year stint with the Toffees, David Moyes made some incredible moments for the Evertonians and it could be time to come back home.

Moyes has been to the likes of Manchester United, Real Sociedad, Sunderland and currently West Ham.

Given his impressive time at Everton, he could be the main man to lead them to a revival before an assuring challenge next season.
