Top assists in 2020/21: Once again we look at the top assists in 2020/21 footballing season across the top 5 Europe Leagues.
The assist kings or creators are the vital players who set-up the all-important goal and this season, we have seen the best of the creative players sparkle their magic across the turf.
We look at the five players who have the top assists in 2020/21 season across Europe:
Kevin De Bruyne

De Bruyne played a massive part in City’s title winning campaign in the 2020/21 EPL season.
With 12 assists, the Belgian international added oomph and top-notch creativity to the City setup, which helped them win their 5th title.
The central mid-fielder has always been a world class and tough player to contend with due to his skill set and adaptability.
The Belgian keeps putting up great performances and is in no surprise to see his presence in this list.
De Bruyne has enjoyed another talismanic season for the Cityzens as he finished the top assist maker for them.

Iago Aspas
Iago Aspas created 13 goals for Celta Vigo as he finished top assist maker in the La Liga this season.
He could not help Celta Vigo finish in the top 4 but his creativity has always been appreciated.
In 33 matches, he scored 14 goals along with 13 assists and was highly effective in Celta Vigo’s rise this season.
Celta’s rise from a 17th place last season to an 8th place finish this season has shown plenty improvement which was largely possible due to Aspas.
Harry Kane

Kane finished the EPL season with the most assists, being 14.
The Tottenham goal-scorer was also the winner of the Golden Boot. This showcases the reliability of Spurs on their danger man this season.
Terrific performances from Kane ensured he finished the season as the best player for Tottenham in an otherwise poor season.
This could well be the tipping point for a move away from North London as he looks for viable opportunities.
Harry has been the go-to-man for many seasons at Spurs and this season too continued his brilliance.
He formed a significant trio with Bale and Son to help Spurs get crucial results towards the end of the season.

Filip Kostic
The Serbian international finished the season with 14 assists for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
Frankfurt finished 5th in the Bundesliga this season largely due to the partnership of Silva and Kostic.
The two worked well in tandem to help the German side finish closer to the top teams this season.
Kostic wonderful runs and crosses from the flanks gave rise to many goals scored this season.
His creativity helped him rise to the occasion and cement his spot in the best player’s list this season.
