Suns:

The phoenix young stars stole the show on Monday with Devin Booker Deandre Ayton playoff debut by pouring in 34 points, and 21 points respectively. Ayton was a threat at the offensive end, immercing10 of his 11 attempts, and 8 offensive rebounds.

The Suns managed to survive a major scare when Chris Paul collided with the teammate Cameron Jordan and told the media afterwards he heard a “crack” in his right shoulder in the second quarter but anyhow managed to return a while later. They are shooting 32.1 percent from beyond and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Predicted lineup:

Devin Booker   Guard
Chris Paul- Guard
Mikal Bridges – Forward
Jae Crowder- Forward
Deandre Ayton- Center

Lakers:

The defense by the Lakers was good enough to hold the Suns to 99 points on an average of 46.5 percent shooting.  LeBron James and Anthony Davis, combined for just 31 points on their 99-90 loss.

The Lakers are currently averaging 90 points on 43.4 percent shooting and allowing 99 points on 46.5 percent shooting. If their offense can keep up with their defense, Game 2 can have an extreme different result.

Predicted lineup:

Dennis Schroder – Guard
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – Guard
LeBron James – Forward
Anthony Davis – Forward
Andre Drummond- Center

Game prediction:

The Lakers should be able to make a comeback with 1-1 in the first round of playoffs. But if Paul and Booker continue to press advantage on the backcourt the Lakers are likely not going to have it easy.
