Torino 2-2 Juventus: Toro and Juve split the stakes at the end of a beautiful and exciting derby, in which both teams appeared more eager than ever to redeem their respective negative moments.
Juve’s crackling start, close to scoring on three occasions in the first minutes, but not without a throw-in opportunity for Toro. Bianconeri ahead at 13 ‘with Federico Chiesa, who – as often recently – removes the chestnuts from the fire of a Juve that seems to be heading for an easy victory. So, however, it is not: at 27 ‘Sanabria, until then anonymous, draws for the grenades.
The first fraction ends on a level of substantial equality, but in the opening of the second half the twist: after only fifteen seconds from the kick-off, Sanabria himself signs his own personal double by capitalizing on an unfortunate back pass by Kulusevski. Toro dreams, but also goes into trouble under the asphyxiating offensive pressure of Pirlo’s team. Who at 79 ‘drew with Cristiano Ronaldo, perfect as always to collect – on the edge of the offside – an involuntary assist from Giorgio Chiellini.

Juve now throws themselves desperately forward, but Toro holds up and counterattacks. At 90 ‘, only a feat by Szczesny denies the hat-trick in Sanabria and a splendid feat for the grenades, who end up on the attack anyway, forcing the Juventus goalkeeper to make further challenging saves.
The game indications for both teams are positive, but only the point collected does not help much in terms of ranking. Juve suffers today from almost all the competitors to qualify for the Champions League, while Toro if nothing else stretches to +2 on Cagliari third from bottom.
