WWE Friday Night SmackDown Result & Highlight: Winner & Grade- 25th June 2021


WWE Friday Night Smackdown Result: SmackDown starts with a video review of the Hell in a Cell match between Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio from last week. The “Head of the Table” was able to successfully defend his title.

Backstage: Paul Heyman tells Roman Reigns that Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio recognize him from their hospital bed. Jimmy Uso arrives and lets Reigns know that Jey Uso has not shown up yet. Jey said he won’t be coming back. Reigns is annoyed that he finally put it on the right hand. Jimmy then offers himself as Reigns’ right hand man. Reigns calls on Jimmy to prove it …

Commentators Michael Cole and Pat McAfee recapitulate Belair’s win over Bayley at Hell in a Cell.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair steps into the ring and declares that she will be back in the ring for the live shows in three weeks. Belair addresses their Hell in a Cell match against Bayley. Belair will never forget the pain, but she can’t stop smiling because in the end she was able to successfully defend her title. The witch is dead now. It

Belair has heard enough and beats Bayley down. Rollins steps in between the two of them, and Bayley uses Rollins to punch Belair.

Cesaro storms into the ring and attacks Cesaro. Cesaro clothesline Rollins out of the ring, while Bayley manages to get Belair out of the ring.

However, Belair returns to the ring and Cesaro swings his match partner’s legs against Bayley.

1st Match
Mixed Tag Team Match
Bianca Belair & Cesaro defeated Bayley & Seth Rollins after Belair’s Rose Plant against Bayley

Backstage: Paul Heyman has a clear opinion, because if Jey should not return, Jimmy Uso could be the main event. Jimmy wants to know what to do for it. Heyman is going to get Jimmy a match, but it would be far from good if he didn’t win the match.

Rick Boogs stands in the ring next to a throne and a rotating podium with the coveted crown on it. Boogs calls out Shinsuke Nakamura and, as usual, plays his guitar at the entrance of the Japanese.

Nakamura steps into the ring and takes a seat on the throne. Boogs puts the crown on Nakamura’s head and proclaims him the new King of SmackDown. McAfee is on the table and rocks while Nakamura’s entrance music continued.

Backstage: King Corbin follows the scenes on a monitor until Kayla Braxton asks him for a comment. Corbin is gloomy and sulking at the loss of the crown. “What’s the point?” Asks Corbin before leaving.

Backstage: Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville also watch the proclamation and rock to the Entrance Theme from Nakamura to Seth Rollins entering the room and demanding a chance at the WWE Universal Championship. Pearce says they are not ready to make a decision on this and Deville adds that they would consider it.

2nd Match
Non-Title Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Big E defeated Apollo Crews (c) (w / Commander Azeez) after the big ending – during the match Azeez was out of the hall expelled after intervening in the match and promoting Big E against the ring barrier

Video: Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens at WWE Hell in a Cell.

Backstage: Kayla Braxton is with a very good-humored Sami Zayn, who initially saw the world as meaningless chaos, but now, after defeating Owens, he sees order in everything. Braxon wants to know if Sami is concerned, after all, he will face Kevin Owens in a Money in the Bank qualifying match next week. Sami is shocked about the current development and walks away.

Afterwards at SmackDown: Jimmy Uso has to assert himself in a match against Dolph Ziggler. According to McAfee, this will be a test for Jimmy.

Backstage, Zayn tries to talk Pearce out of letting him face Owens. Sami should simply be qualified or receive the MITB suitcase. Pearce sticks to the decision. Sami Zayn will face Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing Money in the Bank Qualifier. Zayn tells Pearce that he is playing a very dangerous game with karma.

Sonya Deville is in the ring to reveal the first SmackDown contestant for the Womens Money in the Bank Match. This is the two-time MITB winner Carmella. She walks into the ring and thanks Deville for making the obvious choice. Carmella laughs, realizing that fans are upset about this decision. Carmella calls herself the most beautiful woman in the WWE once more.
Liv Morgan comes out and seems to have learned something because when you declare yourself the most beautiful woman in WWE, it seems like you automatically get a chance. Morgan recalls her victory over Carmella from the previous week and that she should therefore already be qualified for the MITB match.

Carmella laughs at Morgan: “Look at me honey and look at you!” Morgan beats Carmella with a blow to the head. Deville intervenes …

Deville explains that Carmella will definitely take part in the MITB match and that Morgan can prove that she belongs in the match by taking on Carmella now.

3. Match
Liv Morgan defeated Carmella via rollup – the match was followed in the backstage area by Natalya & Tamina

Backstage: Jimmy Uso is in the gorilla position and Kayla asks him if he is under pressure. Jimmy is aware that he has to go through this now. He will dedicate his victory to the family and Jey. Jimmy hopes Reigns is watching.

4. Match
Jimmy Uso defeated Dolph Ziggler (w / Robert Roode) after a super kick

Backstage: Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman watch the highlights of the match in the gorilla position. Jimmy arrives and awaits a response. Reigns smiles and nods before walking to the ring. Jimmy wants to go with him, but Heyman holds him back because Reigns wants to be in the ring without Jimmy – Heyman praises Jimmy for his victory.

As nobody saw it coming the Rated R superstar Edge returned with a surprise and connected sprear on Roman Reigns. And with that note SmackDown episode done for the day.
