Bucks beat down Hawks by 125-91 in Game 2 of NBA Playoffs Finals, level up 1-1

Bucks vs Hawks: The Milwaukee Bucks raged in the second game of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. Mike Budenholzer’s troops beat the Atlanta Hawks with a landslide score of 125-91 in Milwaukee, Saturday (26/6/2021).

This result avenged the Bucks’ loss to the Hawks 113-116 in the first game of the NBA Finals last Thursday.  Not only that, this result made the two teams share the numbers 1-1 from the seven games to be played.

Giannis Antetokounmpo contributed the most points for the Bucks, which was 25 points.  Points from Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, and Khers Middleton also played a part in the Bucks’ win.

While Trae Young’s 15-point contribution and John Collins’ additional 11 points made the Hawks unable to continue their surprise.  Previously, Nate McMillan’s troops made a surprise by qualifying for the NBA Eastern Conference Finals and defeating the Bucks in the first game.

The course of the match

Giannis Antetokounmpo opened the Bucks’ lead over the Hawks 4-0 as soon as the first quarter began.  Brook Lopez’s three-pointer gave the hosts a 7-2 lead.

Buck appeared so dominant.  Giannis layup and Khris Middleton’s three points changed the scoreboard to 12-3.  The Hawks had time to reduce the score 14-20 through Trae Young’s throw and John Collins’ dunk.

Danilo Gallinari’s three-point throw made the match even more intense as the Hawks trailed 26-29.  However, Khris Middleton made the Bucks close the first quarter with a score of 34-28.  In the second quarter, the Bucks are still dominated.  Scores from Khris Middleton, Giannis, Bobby Portis, and Pat Connaughton kept the hosts away and led 49-35.

Three points from Jrue Holiday closed the second quarter with a score of 77-45 for the Bucks advantage.

Next quarter

Entering the third quarter, the Hawks were still unable to keep up with the Bucks’ game.  John Collins and his friends are getting left behind in the points.  The Bucks also lead 40 points, namely 103-63.

In the fourth quarter, the Hawks were still trying to provide resistance.  However, the visitors still had to admit the Bucks’ advantage by giving up 91-125.
