WWE News: SummerSlam is universally considered the second most important WWE PPV after WrestleMania, or at least one of the four most prestigious events of the Stamford federation.
The 2021 edition, at the moment, has neither a fixed date nor a place. But the first rumors are already chasing about what could be the surprises that WWE could reserve for the return of the public in a pay-per-view of such scope.
The latest rumors reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter speak of a possible dream match under construction to be the main event of the show. An important meeting that would not be an absolute first time.

Reigns vs Cena – Part II
The main event of SummerSlam 2021 could in fact be the rematch. This time with a lot of Universal Championship up for grabs, between Roman Reigns and John Cena.
The two have already challenged each other during the 2017 edition of No Mercy, a meeting in which the current Universal Champion took home the victory. Although it is a rematch, the reasons of interest for this dispute would still remain many. The desire for revenge of the Cenation leader.
