WWE News: Edge and Roman Reigns got into a brawl on Social media before Wrestlemania 37 clash

Edge made his decision weeks after winning this year’s Royal Rumble Match, which granted him a title shot of his choice.

The WWE Hall of Famer could’ve challenged for the WWE Title, Universal strap, or NXT Championship. WWE even had him appear on all three programs that feature these titles – Raw, SmackDown, and NXT – to further tease the implications of his decision.

Roman Reigns successfully retained the Universal Title over Daniel Bryan after the fan-favorite had won the SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match that also featured Jey Uso, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, King Corbin, and Sami Zayn.

Reigns quickly beat Bryan. Following the match, Edge came out of nowhere to deliver a spear to “The Big Dog” before pointing to the WrestleMania 37 sign. WWE later confirmed the title match for the biggest event of the year.

On Monday morning, they exchanged some words when Edge first tweet out the following:

“Rated R Superstar. Tribal Chief. Universal Championship. WrestleMania. ‘Nuff Said.”

Reigns followed up with, “When it’s done. You’ll write “My Tribal Chief”.

WrestleMania 37 takes place on April 10th and 11th in Tampa, Florida.
