WWE News: Finn Bálor could be the natural replacement of John Cena for Roman Reigns
WWE News: Following the departure of John Cena, Brock Lesnar is scheduled to be Roman Reigns’ next rival. However, a match between the two might not happen until later.
Before their matches at SummerSlam there was a superstar who had a chance to face The Tribal Chief. But that position was eventually filled by Cena.
We are talking about Finn Bálor, who will be John Cena’s natural replacement at upcoming WWE live events. The official website of Simmons Bank Arena, the North Little Rock pavilion where this Friday’s Friday Night SmackDown event will be held.
It has announced that the dark match will be a team match between Finn Bálor. Rey Mysterio and Dominik against Roman Reigns and The Uses.

We do not know if this means that Finn Bálor will soon have a title opportunity against Roman Reigns, for example at Extreme Rules, the next PPV that will take place at the end of September.
But it is very likely that WWE will leave the fight between Reigns and Brock in the bedroom Lesnar for a bigger event, like Survivor Series. In that case, WWE could pick up the story between Bálor and Reigns to occupy the main scene.
It should be remembered that Finn Bálor agreed to a fight with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam. However, on the night of the signing, Bálor was attacked by Baron Corbin. He in turn was attacked by John Cena. It was finally Cena who took the contract and signed it to make his fight against Roman Reigns official at SummerSlam.
