WWE News: John Cena might turn heel if he returns at SummerSlam 2021.
John Cena reportedly had special attire “ready and waiting” for a potential heel breakthrough. The Boston native has played the role of babyface for most of his career in the company.
The WWE has promoted John as a good guy for years and years and very often this has led to the approval fans. And dinner was one of the most controversial figures in entertainment sport throughout his career to become a prominent element.
Former federation writer Matt McCarthy recently discussed the topic in the latest edition of the “We Watch Wrestling Podcast”. McCarthy revealed that John had a ring gear made for a potential turn heel. And that this didn’t include his signature shorts.

“Cena was the kind of ‘If I’m going to be a heel, I want to be a heel completely.’ He got quite close to that moment. And I’m sure he still has the heel hold he deserved in the event of a turn.
No more shorts. I don’t know what the equipment was, but he had specific equipment ready and waiting, then of course we know that never happened ”.
