WWE NXT 2.0 Result & Highlight: NXT 2.0 Result, Winners, Grade, Video| All You Need To Know – 12th April 2022

NXT kicks off with a video recap of the highlights from the previous week…Vic Joseph greets viewers. Co-commentator is Wade Barrett.

1.Match
NXT North American Championship
Cameron Grimes (c) defeated Solo Sikoa after the cave in – before that, Trick Williams intervened in the match and tried to get Solo off the top rope.

But Solo pushed Trick out of the ring and followed it up with the uso splash before Solo returned to the ring and conceded the finisher from Grimes (13:11)

Post match: Carmelo Hayes shows up and knocks Grimes down.

Solo punches Carmelo before Trick hits a chop block. Carmeloo and Trick beat up Grimes together.

Williams holds Grimes down so Hayes can do a springboard crossbody. Hayes grabs the title and poses with it while standing over the prone Grimes.

The commentators are promoting today’s Five-Team Gauntlet Match, which will determine the new NXT Tag Team Champions.

Grayson Waller (w/ Sanga) cuts off the commentators. His arm remains in a sling.

Waller claims that they should have been awarded the titles and that Sanga is beyond angry and capable of handling the other teams on her own.

Backstage: Malcolm Bivens and the Creed Brothers chat about Pretty Deadly and the rest.

The Tag Team Gauntlet contestants. We also see the Creeds pulling their number from a cup for Gauntlet order.

NXT Champion Bron Breakker marches to the ring and monologues. During the course of the conversation, Breakker explains that his father, Rick Steiner, is now back home safely.

However, Breakker is upset with Gacy, who had the nerve to do this shit for the past week.

Breakker warns that nobody messes with their family and now urges Gacy to get in the ring.

They appears on the video screen, standing outside near a fire. Gacy claims he freed Rick Steiner, but he left Rick’s Hall of Fame ring behind.

Gacy mentions the importance of the ring, saying it’s a reflection of the hard work of Rick’s long career.

According to Gacy, that legacy must be tested with fire. Gacy throws the ring into the fire.

Video Recap: Toxic Attraction regained the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship last week.

Backstage: NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose and NXT Tag Team Champions Gigi Diolan & Jacy Jayne join McKenzie Mitchell for a hype interview.

Mandy Rose explains that Dakota Kai will not stand a chance tonight.

Backstage: Jacket Time can be seen. Kushida is scheduled to face Von Wagner tonight, who attacks Kushida while warming up.

Wagner beats Kushida and Ikemen Jiro. After that, he promotes Kushida over several crates.

Robert Stone arrives and thinks that Von Wagner probably won’t face Kushida tonight.

After a commercial break, Stone and Wagner are in the ring.

Stone has a mic and is holding a promo when Jiro stumbles out holding his ribs. Jiro is still ready to fight.

He takes Kushida’s place in this match. Jiro grabs the microphone and threatens Wagner.

2.Match
Von Wagner (w/ Robert Stone) def. Ikemen Jiro after the Modified Death Valley Driver (2:55)

After the match, Stone tries to boss Wagner around. Instead, Wagner allows himself to be rebuked by a woman in the crowd.

She orders him to continue punishing Jiro. Wagner launches Jiro into the crowd.

Backstage: Nikkita Lyons discusses her feud with Lash Legend with McKenzie Mitchell.

She defeated Legend and therefore has nothing more to prove. Suddenly, Lyons is attacked by Legend. Legend knocked out Lyons with a big boot.

Backstage: The medical staff supports Jiro.In the next video, the tag team Pretty Deadly, consisting of Elton Prince (formerly Lewis Howley) and Kit Wilson (formerly Sam Stoker), is introduced as Pretty Deadly.

Both also draw their number for the upcoming Gauntlet Match and are very happy with the result.

3.Match
NXT Women’s Championship
Mandy Rose (w/ Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) (c) defeated Dakota Kai after a Running Bicycle Knee – Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne provided the crucial distraction before the finish (10:49)

Post match: Wendy Choo comes out and sprays Toxic Attraction with water pistols.

Backstage: Joe Gacy stands by a burning barrel, convinced Bron Breakker can’t carry NXT.

Only he can lead the fire. Breakker is far too emotional – Gacy was able to prove this with the kidnapping of Rick Steiner.

Gacy has Breakker in his hands like a puppet and he will destroy everything that is important to Breakker and the Steiner family.

Gacy pulls the Hall of Fame ring out of the fire with a pair of tongs and puts the hot ring on his finger, visibly in pain.

Backstage: Tony D’Angelo meets up with Santos Escobar and Legado del Fantasma. D’Angelo tries to smooth things over between the two.

D’Angelo hands Escobar an overstuffed envelope, presumably containing a load of cash.

Escobar returns the envelope and tells D’Angelo that respecting the family means more. Escobar walks away, shaking his head.

In-ring: Cora Jade reflects on the WrestleMania weekend. For her, these were the most important days of her life.

Her parents could watch her from the ring. Jade admits she fell short in her match.

Jade has now realized that she has to win the title and that this isn’t just another promo.

Jade continues to talk about her desire to hold the title when suddenly Natalya’s theme song comes on.

Natalya gets in the ring with Jade. Jade is delighted because Nattie is one of her heroes and idols in WWE.

The audience applauds Nattie and a “HOLY SH*T” chant follows – Nattie fights back tears. Jade acts like a fangirl and sticks up for Nattie.

Jade begins telling Natalya about a message she sent years ago. Nattie says she finally saw the message.

Nattie starts crying as she tells Jade that she is the future of the Womens Division – Nattie’s face suddenly turns from tears to a grin.

“The future is bleak,” claims Natalya before Jade takes a hit.

Jade is stunned by the betrayal. But Nattie isn’t done yet. Nattie takes Jade in the Sharpshooter.

Jade desperately gives up, but Nattie doesn’t bother to loosen the grip. Only when several referees intervene does Natalya end the grip.

4.Match
Xyon Quinn def. Draco Anthony after the third Flying Forearm (2:58)

Backstage, Tatum Paxley challenges Natalya to a match. Natalya addresses the NXT Women’s Roster with many of them gathered around her.

Nattie lets them all know that she’s on NXT now. Nattie accepts the challenge for a match against Paxley.

Backstage: Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta argue again over who would have won last week’s match if it hadn’t ended early.

Eventually they both agree and think Hudson and Lumis should team up as both could easily have won today’s Gauntlet Match.

Lumis & Hudson aren’t too keen on the idea, but then reluctantly agree and will soon be teaming up as a tag team.

NXT Tag Team Championship – Five Team Gauntlet Match

#1: The Creed Brothers: Julius & Brutus Creed (w/ Malcolm Bivens) def. Legado Del Fantasma: Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde (w/ Elektra Lopez)

After a spinebuster from Brutus Creed on Wilde – Fallon Henley got into a tussle with Elektra Lopez (4:33)

#2: The Creed Brothers: Julius & Brutus Creed (w/ Malcolm Bivens) def. Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen (w/ Fallon Henley)

After a sliding lariat by Brutus Creed on Brooks Jensen – Briggs & Jensen promoted Brutus Creed to the announce booth ( 13:23)

#3: The Creed Brothers: Julius & Brutus Creed (w/ Malcolm Bivens) def. Grayson Waller & Sanga.

After a sliding lariat by Julius Creed on Sanga – during the match, Waller revealed he was faking his arm injury (9:48)
