WWE NXT: Apollo Crews makes a special appearance on WWE NXT
During the NXT 2.0 broadcasts on the USA Network, superstar Apollo Crews made her surprise return to WWE’s developmental territory.
Bron Breakker walked out to the audience at the Performance Center to celebrate his victory at In Your House.
The champion clarified that Joe Gace was an intimidating opponent, but he would never have let him take the title away from him.
Breakker issued a challenge to anyone who wanted a title match, receiving a surprise response from superstar Apollo Crews from RAW.
Apollo was met with a raucous reception from NXT fans, who cheered “welcome back” for him.

Without the African accent that characterized his later days, Crews made it clear to Breakker that he was back in development territory to get what he never got.
This is how he promised that sooner or later he would find himself face to face with the ultimate champion, shaking his hand in the center of the ring.
After signing with WWE, Apollo Crews joined NXT between 2014 and 2016, starring in several rivalries and competing for the maximum title of the (then) yellow mark.

During his time on RAW and SmackDown, Apollo managed to obtain the United States and Intercontinental Championships.
