On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Judgment Day gave the public a big surprise with his movements after his victory in Hell in a Cell. The group introduced Finn Bálor.
As a new member, moments before he teamed up with Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest to attack Edge and take control of his creation.
Several sources such as PWInsider assured that this change would serve WWE to cover the absence of Cody Rhodes.
However, Fightful Select commented that there are reasons other than “The American Nightmare”. WWE’s creative team wanted to give Judgment Day.
A much more “supernatural” approach, something Edge did not fully approve of. Both parties expressed their disagreements hours before the last RAW.

On the other hand, Fightful confirmed that the integration of Finn Bálor in Judgment Day was planned several days in advance.
The creatives already contemplated a change to rudo for “The Prinxe” a week before the celebration of Hell in a Cell.
However, none of them had in mind to separate “The Ultimate Opportunist” from the group, this being a decision that was made on the march.
Finn Bálor was one of Judgment Day’s rivals alongside AJ Styles and Liv Morgan at Hell in a Cell.
The three fell in defeat to the team of Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest and Edge in a mixed tag team match that took place at the Premium Live Event.
24 hours later, Rhea earned a shot at the RAW Women’s Championship marking the group’s first title run since its inception following WrestleMania 38.
