WWE NXT Result & Highlight: Tuesday Night NXT Result, Winners, Grade, Video| All You Need To Know – 22nd March 2022
NXT kicks off with the arrival of NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. Both enter the hall and hype the ladder match qualifier.
1.Match
NXT North American Title Ladder Match Qualifier
Solo Sikoa def. Roderick Strong (w/ Malcolm Bivens) after the Uso Splash – during the match Santos Escobar came out and watched the match up close (9:18)
Backstage: Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta chat about which is the more attractive NXT couple.
“InDex” or “DuSia”. Hartwell invites Pirotta and Duke Hudson to watch the next match from ringside.
2.Match
Tony D’Angelo defeated Dexter Lumis (w/ Indi Hartwell) after swinging fisherman’s suplex – at the end of the match Dexter Lumis was distracted by Duke Hudson, D’Angelo wanted to use his crowbar.
But Hartwell and Pirotta were able to prevent this at first, but one Moments later, D’Angelo Lumis hit the iron, the ref didn’t notice
Post-match: D’Angelo directs a promo to Ciampa. D’Angelo promises to end Ciampa’s NXT career.
Ciampa then surprised D’Angelo with an attack. Ciampa follows up with his Fairy Tale Ending and states that he will exit in his own way.
Backstage: Grayson Waller boasts that he will win his match against A-Kid tonight and win the North American Champion title at NXT Stand & Deliver.
Backstage: McKenzie Mitchell interviews Robert Roode. NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler is also on hand and hyped Roode’s match today.
3.Match
Elektra Lopez (w/ Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde) defeated Fallon Henley (w/ Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs) after a sitdown powerbomb – during the match the companions brawled out of the hall (3:33)
Backstage: Draco Anthony keeps receiving calls from Joe Gacy. Anthony shows Xyon Quinn a video asking Anthony to join him.
Annoyed, Anthony throws his smartphone against the locker. Xyon Quinn tells Anthony he has his back.
Backstage: Dakota Kai & Wendy Choo are questioned by McKenzie Mitchell about the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals. Both talk about their great friendship and that they will win the tournament.
4.Match
Bobby Roode (w/ Dolph Ziggler) defeated Bron Breakker after the power slam – after Ziggler intervened in the match and protected Roode from a breakker spear, the referee threw him out of the hall (15:14)
Post match: Breakker celebrates his victory on the stage until NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler shows up and smacks him with the title.
Backstage: Dexter Lumis (w/ Indi Hartwell) cools his head until Persia Pirotta and Duke Hudson show up.
Hartwell wants to know if Pirotta gave Tony D the crowbar on purpose – Pirotta denies this.
Lumis then draws a picture of Gunter, after which Hartwell challenges Hudson to a match against Gunther.
Video: We see Andre Chase at Chase University with his student Bodhi Hayward giving a lecture. At first, Chase feels attacked by his words, but in the end he is very touched.
Hayward also scolds another student, much to Andre Chase’s delight. In the coming week, Hayward gets a chance to exact revenge on Von Wagner.

5.Match
NXT North American Title Ladder Match Qualifier
Grayson Waller (w/ Sanga) def. A-Kid after the Rolling Cutter – Solo Sikoa watched the to match from the stage (2:51)
Post match: Hayes and Williams enter the ring and announce another qualifier for the Ladder Match.
Next week, the losers of the previous qualifiers will face off in a Triple Threat Qualifier (A-Kid vs. Roderick Strong vs. Cameron Grimes). The winner qualifies for the ladder match.
Before the next match, the Grizzled Young Veterans inform the Creed Brothers that they had nothing to do with the attack a few weeks ago.
Backstage: Robert Stone and Von Wagner are talking. Wagner talks about how he will take care of Ikeman Jiro tonight and Bodhi Hayward next week. Robert Stone walks away to continue business talks with Sofia Cromwell.
6.Match
Tag team match
The Creed Brothers: Julius & Brutus Creed (w/ Malcolm Bivens & Ivy Nile) def.
Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) after Brutus’ sliding clothesline on Drake (4:14)
After the match, we see two hooded people destroying the Diamond Mine training facility on the video screen.
They spray paint “DON’T CRY” on the wall and one of them pulls down the DM flag. After that, they both text the Creed Brothers with a warning.
7.Match
Gunther (w/ Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel) defeated Duke Hudson (w/ Persia Pirotta) after the powerbomb – Indi Hartwell followed the match up close at ringside (3:49)
After the match, Gunther holds a promo. He describes himself as the most dominant fighter at NXT and laments that he is overlooked at NXT.
Gunther mentions the name LA Knight, and Knight appears and confronts Gunther.
Knights puts on his signature show at the mic when Gunther tells him to shut up. Gunther claims that Knight represents everything that is wrong with the sport today. Lots of talk and very little skill.
Gunther goes on to say that Knight’s loud mouth gets him matches, but Knight lacks the skills to win those matches.
They responds by threatening Gunther. Knight warns Gunther never to interrupt him again (Note: which is ironic since Knight interrupted Gunther earlier in this segment.) Knight loudly lashes out at Gunther.
Knight wants to start a match with his words, but since Gunther told him to shut up, he decides to take a different route. Knight hits Gunther with a sucker punch.
The Empire lunges at Knight until MSK rushes over to the save and evens the odds. Knight and MSK clear the ring.
In a post-commercial announcement, Gunther is confirmed to take on LA Knight in a singles match for NXT Stand & Deliver. In addition, the following match is confirmed for the coming week:
Six Man Tag Team Match
Gunther & Imperium vs LA Knight & MSK
An emotional video pack tells the story of Cameron Grimes and the passing of his father.
Grimes made a promise to his father. Grimes wants to work towards fulfilling that promise.
Toxic Attraction head to their Toxic Lounge for the final match of the night.
8.Match
Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic – Finals
Io Shirai & Kay Lee Ray def. Wendy Choo & Dakota Kai after Shirai moonsaulted Choo (10:19)
Post match: Confetti falls from the ceiling as Shirai & KLR celebrate their win. Toxic Attraction enter the ring as NXT Champion Mandy Rose orders the music to stop.
For Mandy Rose, Shirai & KLR are not serious opponents for Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolan.
KLR & Shirai state that they are now aiming for the NXT Women’s Champion title and announce that they will not use their win to get an ordinary tag team championship match.
Instead the NXT Women’s Championship match will be between Mandy Rose and Cora Jade at NXT Stand & Deliver a Fatal 4-Way Match!
Toxic Attraction attack Shirai and Ray until Cora Jade comes out and powerfully supports both of them. Toxic Attraction withdraw. That ends the show.
