WWE NXT Result: NXT starts with a video that focuses on the NXT TakeOver 36 matches and highlights some of today’s highlights. Vic Joseph greets the audience. Beth Phoenix and Wade Barrett are co-commentators.

In-ring: Malcolm Bivens, Roderick Strong and Hachiman are in the ring. Bivens calls KUSHIDA a coward because he doesn’t want to go up against Roderick Strong. Bivens issues an open challenge. Anyone can challenge Roderick Strong.

Vic Joseph notes that William Regal announced on social media that KUSHIDA will not be able to compete tonight because he has not received medical clearance. Ilja Dragonov accepts the challenge.

1st match
Ilya Dragunov defeated Roderick Strong (w / Malcolm Bivens & Hachiman) after the Torpedo Moscow – during the match, Dragunov was distracted by Hachiman, in this regard Strong Dragunov crashed into the ring staircase, in the further course Dragunov sustained a bloody wound in his face

In-Ring: Hit Row come out on a promo. In a video review we see the attack by Legado del Fantasma on Isaiah “Swerve” Scott two weeks ago.

Swerve & B-FAB speak out about their rivals until Santos Escobar appears on the video screen to interrupt the promo. He’s in the parking lot joking. Since Escobar cannot trust the group, he asks Scott to meet with him. Escobar lures Scott into the parking lot with the promise that they will sort things out man-to-man.

Scott storms out of the building to meet Escobar. He is then attacked from behind by Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza. While Scott is being worked on by the Heel trio, the remaining members of Hit Row storm to the parking lot and brawl with Legado del Fantasma. Hit Row can prevail.

Backstage: NXT UK Champion WALTER, Marcel Barthel and Fabien Aichner mention how Imperium will hold their own against MSK tonight and give pro-wrestling its honor … “because the mat is sacred to us!”, Says WALTER.

Backstage: The reigning NXT Tag Team Champions Io Shirai and Zoey Stark are interviewed. Stark still wants to be friends with Shirai, but the Japanese shows no interest because she only wants to defend the title.

Before the next match: Indi Hartwell adapts to Lumis’ entrance and also looks very rigidly into the camera.

Mixed Tag Team Match
InDex: Dexter Lumis & Indi Hartwell defeated Robert Stone & Jessi Kamea (w / Franky Monet) after Kamea resigned in the Hartwell Silencer – Lumis silenced Robert Stone outside the ring

After the match: Hartwell has a short chat with Beth Phoenix until the NXT commentator hands her something. This is an engagement ring. Hartwell gets on his knees and proposes marriage to Lumis. Lumis says: “Yes!” Hartwell kisses her fiance.

Backstage: Malcolm Bivens is upset that McKenzie Mitchell tried to interview Roderick Strong. The WWE interviewer should contact him.

This is followed by a short split-screen interview between Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai. The reigning NXT Womens Championess claims to prevail on Sunday. Kai claims to have built Gonzalez. Gonzalez accuses Kai of being jealous. She just uses people for her own ends. Gonzalez finally describes Kai as a sidekick.

4. Match
NXT Breakout Tournament – Semifinals
Carmelo Hayes defeated Duke Hudson after a flying guillotine legdrop.

So Carmello Hayes meets Odyssey Jones in the NXT Breakout Tournament.

After the match: Carmelo Hayes is interviewed about victory. Only a moment later, his opponent can be seen on the stage. Both are ready for the final, which will take place next week.

Backstage: MSK: Wes Lee & Nash Carter prepare for today’s match against Imperium.

NXT Tag Team Championship
MSK: Wes Lee & Nash Carter (c) defeated Imperium: Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner after their Hart Attack / Blockbuster combination against Aichner – during the match WALTER came out and caused a distraction, he also managed one Fend off Dragunov’s attack, MSK used this distraction to win

After the match: WALTER beats Dragunov while MSK try to make the save. WALTER incapacitates the tag team and is then attacks Dragunov. Imperium and WALTER finish Dragunov. WALTER has not yet had enough and chokes Dragunov.

Backstage: Ridge Holland (w / Pete Dunne) cracks down on Timothy Thatcher. Holland will face Thatcher next week.

Now is the face-to-face in-ring segment between Karrion Kross and Samoa Joe.

The reigning NXT Champion enters the stage and makes it clear that it’s not about them both, but about the future of the brand. Kross brings several security guards with him to protect Joe.

Kross explains that he will make short work of Joe at TakeOver. Angry Joe has heard enough and attacks the NXT Champ. Security has problems keeping both men away from each other. As a result, Samoa Joe can show a Tope Suicida on Kross and the security.

Joe and Kross continue their brawl around the ring. Security tries again to separate the two, but without success. Both rivals fell over the ring barrier and Joe continued to beat Kross until the NXT champ Joe and some people from security promoted through the plexiglass. Joe and Kross are on the floor. The final NXT ends before TakeOver 36.
