WWE RAW Result: Drew McIntyre earns title shot, Flair – Rhea, and more(12/04).
Raw kicks off with an Earlier Today video: We see the arrival of Bobby Lashley and MVP. The reigning WWE Champion was greeted by a number of Superstars. When Lashley signs an autograph on someone, Riddle shows up on his scooter and challenges Lashley to a match. Lashley is stunned, after all, Riddle was beaten up by Sheamus the previous night. But Riddle does not give up. Lashley has heard enough and pushes Riddle to the floor. Lashley talks about winners and losers there. Afterwards he’ll show Riddle the difference.
Raw commentators Adnan Virk (former ESPN sports commentator), Corey Graves and Byron Saxton are greeted.
Tonight on Raw: New Raw Womens Champion Rhea Ripley is about to put her title on the line against Auska. There is also a new Firefly Fun House episode waiting for us.
Before the first match of the evening: Lashley attacks Riddle and pushes him against the ring fence a few times, then against the ring post, and then against the fence again before entering the ring.

Bobby Lashley (c) (w / MVP) defeated Riddle via the Hurt Lock
WrestleMania Video Recap: Rhea Ripley won the Raw Womens Championship after defeating Asuka on the second WrestleMania night.
Backstage: Rhea Ripley speaks to Kevin Patrick about today’s Raw Womens Championship Rematch against Asuka. Ripley says she has enough confidence and that’s why she beat one of the best champions of all time. Fans at WrestleMania witnessed the brutal new order of the Women’s Division. Afterwards she will prove again that she is ready for Asuka.
2. Match
Tag Team Match
The Viking Raiders: Erik & Ivar defeated Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin after the Viking Experience against Alexander.
Backstage: Kevin Patrick is with Asuka for an interview. The former womens champ confirms that WrestleMania was a nightmare for her. However, she will regain the title tonight.
Charlotte Flair steps into the ring and explains that she should be in the ring with a big smile, but she didn’t participate in WrestleMania that year because she wasn’t welcome. It was out of their control. But it wasn’t her fault that Asuka needed a tag team partner. And that her father appeared at Legends Night and acted like an idiot wasn’t her fault either. The same applies to Lacey Evans’ pregnancy. Charlotte then even challenged Asuka, but the Japanese did not react. Then Asuka was challenged by the opportunist Rhea Ripley. Asuka accepted the challenge and Ripley won the Raw Women’s Title.
Flair talks about how the other ladies in the locker room were glad she wasn’t there because they saw an opportunity. But Ripley is the biggest snake. Destiny is a bitch and she is that bitch!
No other superstar can match “The Queen”. Charlotte realized for the first time since signing her contract 7 years ago, after seeing WrestleMania from home, that she’s not stealing opportunities because she is the opportunity. Charlotte has a message for all fans: “I don’t steal an opportunity, I create opportunities!”
This is the new Charlotte Flair and we will all bow down to our 13-time womens champion. Charlotte wonders what she got for her great achievements. Actually, she should have been in today’s title match. Charlotte is booed by the ThunderDome fans.
3. Match
Raw Women’s Championship
Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Asuka ends in the no contest after Charlotte Flair showed up and promoted Asuka to Ripley
After the match: Charlotte followed up with some actions against Asuka and Rhea Ripley. Then “The Queen” celebrates.
Backstage: The Miz and John Morrison meet Maryse. The Miz kisses his wife. Morrison asks why Maryse is here, and The Miz announces her as today’s guest on MizTV. Miz and Maryse leave the scene, while Morrison says that of course he knew that.
Backstage: Mandy Rose slipped while entering WrestleMania 37 and landed on her butt. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler watch this scene repeatedly and make fun of it. Rose shows up and asks if they’re done. She admits she was embarrassed. The next moment Nia gets a slap in the face from Mandy before she is knocked down by Mandy and Dana. Nia Jax is beside herself.
Backstage: Alexa Bliss is in her playground swinging on a swing. She had a lot of fun at WrestleMania 37, but why was she doing what she did there? In relation to this, she tells a story of a little girl who was lost until she was rescued from darkness. The darkness protected her, nourished her and taught her everything she needed to know. When the darkness disappeared, the girl realized that she had never needed the darkness. Did the darkness help her or was it just in her way? Why else would she use what she was taught to try to destroy the darkness?
We see various moments in the past few months and then she introduces her new friend. The camera now captures a creepy doll named Lilly on the other swing. “The fun is just beginning!” Says Alexa and laughs. The camera shows the creepy doll in close-up. The doll snaps.
The Miz, Maryse and John Morrison hit the ring for a new edition of MizTV. The Miz and Maryse are promoting the new season of Miz & Mrs. which will start right after Raw. John Morrison can even be seen in the opening sequence. The Miz then claims that he made Bad Bunny a superstar in the first place, because his impressive performance would never have happened without the Moneymaker. The Miz presents some highlights of the match.
Damian Priest interrupts and defends Bunny. The Miz has heard enough and challenges Priest to a match. Morrison was also about to challenge Priest. Maryse interrupts and has an idea. Both can play against Damian Priest. Priest calls the heels idiots and declares himself ready for the handicap match. Both are not ready because they are still wearing suits. Another commercial break follows.
4. Match
2-on-1 handicap match
The Miz & John Morrison (w / Maryse) defeated Damian Priest via rollup with their feet on the ring rope and the support of Maryse – shortly before Priest was distracted by Maryse
After the match: The Miz is ashamed because he no longer wears pants. Damian Priest ripped off The Miz’s pants during the match. The Miz seeks protection with Maryse. Backstage: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler watch once again with Kevin Patrick the attack by Mandy and Dana on Nia. Nia knows the reason for the attack, because Mandy only wants to distract from her WrestleMania mistake. Mandy and Dana will be forgotten after today’s beating by Nia and Shayna.
Before the next match: Nia Jax trips when she enters the ring. Mandy and Dana laugh.
5th Match
Non-Title Tag Team Match
Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler (c) defeated Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke via countout – at the end of the match Nia Jax slipped off the apron while trying to get into the ring, then Mandy laughed and left the ring – Mandy and Dana let themselves be counted
WrestleMania video review: Bobby Lashley successfully defended his title against Lashley.
MVP is in the ring explaining why Lashley is not there. Lashley doesn’t feel respected and doesn’t want to see any more stupid things. Drew McIntyre wanted to prove himself, but his plan was unsuccessful. According to the MVP, it’s only a matter of time before Lashley applies the hurt lock. MVP wonders how much pain McIntyre is feeling today.
McIntyre interrupts. MVP has no idea how he’s feeling. Drew admits defeat, but he won’t give up and get his rematch to get Lashley off the podium.
Braun Strowman comes out and tells McIntyre to queue up. Randy Orton comes up next, declaring that his rivalry with “The Fiend” and Alexa Bliss has ended. Now he wants to be WWE Champion again.
Adam Pearce enters the stage. The arguments presented convince him, so there will be a Triple Threat Match tonight and the winner will get a WWE Championship match against Bobby Lashley at “WrestleMania Backlash”.
After a commercial break in the backstage area: Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman are talking about today’s main event match. Everyone wants to decide for themselves.
Elias and Jaxson Ryker are in the ring. Elias dedicates his next song to Shane McMahon. When Elias tries to play his guitar, Xavier Woods’ trombone sounds. Elias tries again, but the trumpet of Xavier Woods can be heard over and over again.
The New Day come out and Kofi Kingston says they shouldn’t apologize to Shane McMahon but to apologize to the rest of the Tag Division for getting their asses spanked by a man at Mania.
Elias countered, eventually The New Day were beaten up by Omos and lost their tag team titles. The New Day has heard enough. Both now want to show the heels what a real tag team is capable of.
6. Match
Tag Team Match
The New Day: Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods defeated Elias & Jaxson Ryker after the day break against Elias
Backstage: In a short promo, Randy Orton declares that he will win the Triple Threat Match after an RKO.
Firefly Fun House: Bray Wyatt greets the audience and greets his puppets who were all in a good mood. Wyatt talks about their connection and how he feels reborn. In addition, everything will be fine, because “he” will be back. Bray Wyatt smiles and waves to the end of the segment.
7. Match
No. 1 Challenger Triple Threat Match
Winner gets the WWE Championship Match against Bobby Lashley at “WrstleMania Backlash”
Drew McIntyre defeated Braun Strowman and Randy Orton after the Claymore Kick against Orton – previously Orton struck Strowman with the RKO and pinned him before McIntyre interrupted the cover with his finisher against Orton
After the match: Drew McIntyre poses briefly, then looks into the Camera and says, “I told them … WrestleMania was just the beginning!”
Suddenly the music from The Hurt Business sounds and MVP enters the stage. In the ring, McIntyre is attacked by T-Bar and Mace. The two former Retribution members knock McIntyre down with a double chokeslam.
After that, the heels leave the ring and commentators wonder if MVP has anything to do with this attack. MVP and Drew McIntyre look at each other from a distance. This ends the first Raw after WrestleMania.
