5 things that we have learnt from latest episode of WWE Raw


WWE Monday Night RAW ended on the most unexpected note ever. The WWE Universe witnessed some of the most exciting matches between the RAW roster. Some announcements were also made for the upcoming WWE Backlash on 16th May.

Here are 5 things that we have learnt from the latest episode of WWE RAW:

Riddle messes up with Bobby Lashley

This Monday Night RAW witnessed Riddle messing up with Lashley while he was celebrating his WWE Championship victory over McIntyre. Riddle teased Bobby Lashley about his victory and implied that Drew was the real winner of the match.

Bobby smashed Riddle backstage after Riddle’s humiliating comments and challenged him for a match. In the match, Riddle got a taste of Bobby Lashley. Bobby destroyed Riddle with the utmost brutality. Riddle became a punching bag for Bobby who went on landing his moves repeatedly.

Drew McIntyre gets his shot at the WWE Title again

The latest RAW episode saw a remark made by Drew McIntyre to MVP that Drew will ultimately get his rematch. Following the conversion, Braun Strowman, out of nowhere appeared and added to the challenge.

Moreover, The Viper Randy Orton also made an appearance and asked for a shot at the WWE title as well. Meanwhile, Adam Pierce, the deciding authority appeared and scheduled a match between the 3 challengers.

Randy Orton, Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre fought in a triple threat match at RAW. The winner would become the No.1 contender for the WWE Championship and face Bobby Lashley at WWE Backlash.

The match started with Braun and Drew fighting and the Viper just being a spectator. Throughout the match, Braun Strowman had the upper hand before the Viper gave Strowman an RKO.

As soon as Orton went for the pinfall, Drew McIntyre stole the show by landing his Claymore on the Viper. Drew then won the match fair and square and got his rematch eventually.

Mandy Moose and Dana Brooke beat Nia Jax backstage

The Monday Night RAW episode also witnessed Mandy Moose and Dana Brooke hitting Nia Jax backstage. The duo humiliated Nia Jax as a result of Nia enjoying video bloopers of Mandy and Dana at WWE.

Mandy and Dana later got a Tag Team match against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Throughout the match, Mandy and Dana got the taste of Nia’s anger which led to them forfeiting the match. Both Mandy and Dana got away from the ring and lost via count-out.

Charlotte Flair’s Return

As expected, Charlotte Flair returned to the WWE at the latest RAW episode. Charlotte Flair expressed her views on the new RAW Champion Rhea Ripley as well as Asuka. She talked about how Rhea got her match at Wrestlemania and how much unfair it was.

Charlotte then kept passing on humiliating comments for both Rhea and Asuka. Rhea Ripley fought Asuka at the Monday Night RAW for the RAW Women’s Championship. Charlotte interrupted their match after a while and attacked both the superstars which led to Rhea retaining her title.

Damian Priest fought The Miz & John Morrison

The Monday Night RAW episode also included a 2 on 1 handicap match between Damian Priest V/S The Miz and John Morrison. The Miz was also accompanied by Maryse, his wife. Damian Priest absolutely owned the match and dominated both The Miz and John Morrison.

The WWE Universe witnessed a series of slams and high flying moves made by Damian Priest. Towards the end of the match, the Miz pinned Damian taking advantage of the ropes. The Referee, unbeknownst to it, counted the fall and Damian Priest lost as a result of unfairness.
