Roman Reigns does not forget Finn Bálor, but he is attending to John Cena

Although the SummerSlam match for the WWE universal belt appears to be starring John Cena and Roman Reigns, there is a third disagreement. Finn Bálor was going to be Roman’s rival at first, however, John Cena was the one who signed the contract after Baron Corbin attacked Bálor.

Last week, Bálor took revenge on Corbin and asked again for his shot at the universal belt. Roman Reigns appeared to face Bálor who ended up receiving the attack from Jey and Jimmy Uso. The Irishman managed to knock down the twins, which caused Roman to intervene.

Roman closed the program by applying a Guillotine to Bálor. It is expected that tonight the story continues with the inclusion of John Cena, because after signing the SummerSlam match he has not appeared on television.

The situation of the Intercontinental belt

With Big E focused on the Money in the Bank briefcase, it seems that the intercontinental belt has lost importance. Apollo Crews ended their rivalry with Big E and now awaits a new rival that looks like it will be Nakamura.

The Japanese fighter is having a new push with his role as a face and seems set to be the next rival to the secondary medal. Last week Nakamura defeated Apollo Crews via disqualification and was able to bring down Azeez.

Face to face in the ring between Seth Rollins and Edge

Seth Rollins and Edge met on screen last week due to Rollins not being in the pavilion. Stop this week’s program the two are scheduled, so everything indicates that he will have a confrontation on the ring to heat up the SummerSlam match.
