WWE WRESTLEMANIA: The first guess made by any WWE fan ever would be The Dead Man Undertaker. But of all the 24 fights that The Undertaker have won over his career at the WWE at Wrestlemania, not all of his opponents were as competent as the Undertaker.
For example, The Undertaker faced opponents like Bray Wyatt & AJ Styles at two of his Wrestlemania matches but these 2 aren’t fit to fill The Undertaker’s shoes. Actually, no one is. Now, let’s talk about who can be called as the greatest Wrestlemania performer of all time.
Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels whose nickname is literally “Mr.Wrestlemania” has always underperformed at the Show of the Shows Wrestlemania. Shawn has played 17 wrestlemania matches and lost 11 of them of which 2 defeats were against The Undertaker.
His second lose against The Dead man ended his career at the WWE. In his initial years, Michaels was actually worthy of being called Mr.Wrestlemania but after a while, the HBK lost his prime.
Shawn gave a tough fight to the Undertaker at the Wrestlemania but his record consists almost twice as many losses as wins which doesn’t suggest that he deserves to be called the greatest Wrestlemania performer.
The Undertaker
The Undertaker went on to continue his undefeated winning streak at the Wrestlemania until he faced the Beast Brock Lesnar at the Wrestlemania 30th. The Dead Man has defeated Shawn Michaels twice and The Game Triple H thrice at the Wrestlemania but couldn’t defeat Brock once.
Brock ended The Dead Man’s streak making the score 21-1 which led the WWE fans to utmost shock. The Undertaker went on to battling top WWE superstars at the Wrestlemania even after that and won 3 of his next 4 another matches making the record now 24-2.
The another loss under the Undertaker’s scoreboard was caused by the Underdog and the current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. More or less, the Undertaker has never failed to give a unique show at the Wrestlemania and he obviously can be called as the Greatest Wrestlemania performer.
John Cena
John Cena is yet another WWE legend who has always outperformed Top WWE superstars. John Cena never came out of his prime and went on to succeeding at the WWE. Cena’s Wrestlemania record is 10 wins out of 15 matches played.
Cena also scored one of his victory at the Wrestlemania against the WWE legend The Rock. The last match John Cena fought at the Wrestlemania was against the Undertaker at the Wrestlemania 34th which Cena lost.
John Cena has fought less of his matches at the Wrestlemania but still managed to win the hearts of the WWE fans. Still, calling him the greatest Wrestlemania performer wouldn’t be justice towards The Undertaker as of now.
Triple H
The game Triple H comes second to the Undertaker for fighting the most matches at Wrestlemania. While The Undertaker has fought 26 matches at Wrestlemania, The Game Triple H has fought 23 out of which he has only won 10.
Triple H’s latest Wrestlemania match was against Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey which Triple H & his wife Stephanie McMahon lost. One of the Triple H’s iconic matches he fought was against Sting at the Wrestlemania 37th which The Game won after which he was appreciated by the Sting himself.
Triple H has been a successful wrestler as well a successful businessman at the WWE but The Game still can’t be called the greatest Wrestlemania performer.
Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns has fought 7 matches at the Wrestlemania out of which he has won 5. Reigns has experienced a significant amount of rise in his career at the WWE in such a short time undoubtedly. All of Roman’s Wrestlemania matches have been nothing short of fun.
Reigns’ last Wrestlemania match was against Drew McIntyre which he won in literally 10 minutes. Roman also created history after defeating The Undertaker at the Wrestlemania and was the second person to defeat the Undertaker ever at the Wrestlemania.
In the future, Roman can absolutely compete with The Dead Man Undertaker over being called the greatest Wrestlemania performer but currently The Dead Man Undertaker leads.
