Belgium Euro 2020: Belgium enter the Euro 2020 as one of the strongest contenders and we look at their squad for the upcoming Euros.
Roberto Martinez’s men have a wonderful talent and pool of players who can stand up against the big boys as they aim to conquer Europe.

Martinez has announced his 26-man strong contingent for the Euro 2020 as Belgium seek to win the trophy, they came closest to winning in 1980 as they finished runners up.
Eden Hazard captains the Die Rode Duivels while Kevin De Bruyne takes up the role of his deputy.
The squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Thibaut Courtois, Simon Mignolet, Mats Selz.
Defenders: Toby Alderweireld, Dedryck Boyata, Jason Denayer, Thomas Vermaelen, Jan Vertonghen.
Midfielders: Timothy Castagne, Nacer Chadli, Yannick Carrasco, Kevin De Bruyne (Vice-Captain), Leander Dendoncker, Thorgan Hazard, Thomas Meunier, Dennis Praet, Youri Tielemans, Hans Vanaken, Axel Witsel.
Forwards: Michy Batshuayi, Christian Benteke, Jerémy Doku, Eden Hazard (Captain), Romelu Lukaku, Dries Mertens, Leandro Trossard.
The Belgium side once again have the talent in the squad to go all the way.

The consistency in mid-field and attack is what gives them the edge over others.
Castagne, Carrasco, Meunier, Tielemans are some players who come having had a brilliant domestic season. There is experience, depth in the squad.
Belgium’s strike force has been on song in their respective leagues with Lukaku, Trossard, Benteke; all capable enough to make a difference on their day.
De Bruyne’s injury does not seem to be really threatening and we will see the Man City playmaker return to the national squad.
Hazard would need to get back his form soon enough and lead from the front.
The Real Madrid player has been woeful in the past 2 seasons in the La Liga and has battled plenty injuries.
Fixtures
Die Rode Duivels find themselves in Group B alongside Denmark, Russia and Finland.
We expect the Belgians to progress from the group stage and make a serious effort in getting their hands on the prize.

17th June: Denmark vs Belgium (09:30 PM IST)

Russia and Denmark are the hosts for the matches of Group B.
Belgium play two warm-up matches against Greece and Croatia on 4th and 7th June respectively before they get their tournament underway.
