Jasper Cillessen: Netherlands’ goalkeeper, Jasper Cillessen is ruled out of Euro 2020 after he tested positive for Covid-19.
Jasper missed the week-long session of the Netherlands team due to the self-isolation. And he was ruled out of the continental event as the team prepares to leave.
It was a decision made by the management to keep him out. As they do not know about his availability next.
Jasper Cillessen was included in the Netherlands final squad alongside Stekelenburg and Krul.
With quarantine regulations in place, it would take a while for Jasper Cillessen to come back. And hence he sadly misses out on the continental event.
Marco Bizot is set to replace Cillessen as the third goalkeeper in the Holland squad.
The keeper kept only 3 clean sheets in the entire season as Valencia finished a woeful 13th in the La Liga table.

He was a key player and the starter for Netherlands in the upcoming Euros but with the prevailing conditions. He misses out the event.
The Oranjes are drawn in Group C alongside Ukraine, Austria and North Macedonia for the Euros.

Holland play 2 warm-up matches against Scotland and Georgia before their opening match on 14th June against Ukraine.
The final Euro squads are set to be announced on June 1st and no changes can be made post that date.
