Morocco WC 2022 Squad: Morocco is set to appear in their 6th FIFA World Cup in Qatar this year and have announced their touring squad for the event.

32-year-old Besiktas defender, Romain Saiss is set to captain Morocco for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in what will be his 2nd ever tournament.
The Atlas Lions’ 26-man squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Yassine Bounou, Munir and Ahmed Reda Tagnaouti
Defenders: Achraf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui, Romain Saiss (C), Nayef Aguerd, Achraf Dari, Jawad El-Yamiq, Yahia Attiat-Allal and Bad Benoun
Midfielders: Sofyan Amrabat, Selim Amallah, Abdelhamid Sabiri, Azzedine Ounahi, Bilel El Khanouss and Yahya Jabrane

Fixtures
Morocco is part of a difficult Group F in the FIFA World Cup with Belgium, Canada and Croatia making up the quartet.
The fixtures are as follows:
23rd November: Morocco vs Croatia (03:30 PM IST), Al Bayt Stadium
27th November: Belgium vs Morocco (06:30 PM IST), Al Thumama Stadium
1st December: Canada vs Morocco (08:30 PM IST), Al Thumama Stadium

Morocco return to the World Cup once again after appearing in the 2018 Russia event.
It is going to be a tough ask for the African nation given the opposition includes last WC’s runners-up, Croatia.
But Morocco with their unity, brotherhood and ability to showcase their potential; they remain a quality unit looking to ruffle some feathers.
