After losing in Game 1 with a mere difference of 3 points, the Jazz made a remarkable comeback. Ja Morant of Memphis did his best and smashed in 47 points and broken the record of being 2nd youngest player in the history of the NBA to score 45+ points in the NBA playoffs

The record set by Morant was not enough for the Grizzlies to lead the series. The 6ft 3inch Ja, who had 7 assists in the loss, has earned the respect of the 7ft 1inch Rudy Gobert with his competitive fire.

Dillon Brooks and Jonas Valancuinas scored 23 and 18 points respectively in Game 2. Apart from all the rest players the starting 5 managed to score in double digits but all in vain.

Predicted lineup:

  • Jaren Jackson Jr. – Forward
  • Kyle Anderson – Forward
  • Jonas Valanciunas – Center
  • Dillon Brooks – Guard
  • Ja Morant – Guard

In Game 2, the Jazz made 54.4 percent from the field. Donovan, Conley, and Gobert combined for 66 points with 20+ points each. Which was not enough to surpass Ja Morant in a game in which they almost scored 150 points. It seems like the Jazz will now focus on the 21-year old guard when they face him in Memphis.

 Predicted lineup:

  • Bojan Bogdanovic– Forward
  • Royce O’Neale– Forward
  • Rudy Gobert- Center
  • Donovan Mitchell– Guard
  • Mike Conley – Guard

Game prediction:

Being the number 1 in the Eastern conference, the Jazz has not influenced as much as they did in the play in the season. Although for the Grizzlies to stop them, they will have to steer clear of giving in earthly fouls and rebound the ball more.

In Game 3, the Grizzlies will have a home-court advantage and if Ja along with his team dominated the Jazz with the defense, it is 2-1 for them.
