Defenders: Youssouf Sabaly, Kalidou Koulibaly (C), Abdou Diallo, Pape Abou Cisse, Formose Mendy, Ismail Jakobs and Fode Ballo Toure

Senegal’s recent successes have shown their potential and hope to enthrall all during their stay in Qatar.
Coach and ex-player, Aliou Cissé recently signed a new two-year contract after his success in getting Senegal to the top of African Football.
Now it is time to show the same mentality and strength at the World stage for which the Lions of Teranga are ready.

Senegal is a part of Group A in the FIFA WC 2022 alongside Ecuador, Netherlands and hosts, Qatar.
The fixtures are as follows:
21st November: Senegal vs Netherlands (09:30 PM IST), Al Thumama Stadium
25th November: Qatar vs Senegal (06:30 PM IST), Al Thumama Stadium
29th November: Ecuador vs Senegal (08:30 PM IST), Khalifa International Stadium

Senegal is expected to progress to the knockouts of the competition. They eye success at the World Stage which could be difficult this time due to the other teams being relatively stronger. But an experience in itself awaits for the Lions of Teranga.
