Man United champions: It was a night of celebration as Man United beat Newcastle to lift the Carabao Cup in Sunday’s final over Newcastle.

United triumphed 2-0 with goals from Casemiro and Botman (og) to ensure a 1st trophy in 6 years and their 6th ever Carabao Cup title.

The Red Devils put on a clinical performance of desire and determination to end ten Hag’s 7th month as a manager with a title.

David De Gea with a clean-sheet in the final registered his 181st clean-sheet for the club.

This made him the outright number 1 goalkeeper with the most clean-sheets in the club’s history. The record was held by Peter Schmeichel previously (180).
